The Incredible Years is a parenting curriculum for parents of children ages 2-8. Participants can self-refer or be referred by a social worker. The class meets once-a-week for 18 weeks and covers such subjects as child-directed play, emotional regulation, and leading kids toward emotional and social success. Food and childcare are provided. There is no cost to attend.

Offers virtual parent coaching and seminars. The 60-minute seminars focus on a range of topics for parents and provide tips for everyday parenting. Limit of 12 participants per seminar.

This 4-hour class offers an overview of researchers’ current understanding of the best approach for supporting children when they live separately from one or both parents.   Participants receive a certificate at the completion of the class.

Provides a 4-hour class designed to assist parents in supporting children who have witnessed, or have been affected by domestic violence. Upon completion of the seminar, participants receive a certificate of completion. Classes are offered twice per month on a Saturday from 9am-1pm, and are presented separately for men and women.

Parenting Journey is a 12-week course for parents with children of all ages and stages. Hands-on activities and guided discussions help you develop knowledge and skills that support you as a parent and as a role model.

Facilitates one-on-one meetings with a parenting mentor, who can help clients set up a class schedule and meet for individual parenting training sessions and encouragement. Separate mentoring available for mothers and fathers. Classes meet court requirements. Participants earn "Care Net Cash" which they can use to shop in the baby boutique, which has items like diapers, formula, clothing and baby furniture including car seats and cribs. Helps families build on their strengths, find support networks, and promote overall well-being, through various programs. Parent Education - Incredible Years Parent Training: helps parents understand how to build a positive relationship with their child. Available at the Wenatchee Family Resource Center or in-home. Currently provided through a contract with DCYF. Families are referred by their social worker. - Project Safe Care: boosts parenting skills, while teaching how to improve the health of the child. Currently provided through a contract with DCYF. Families are referred by their social worker. -Triple P: evidence- based program boosts parenting skills. Currently provided through a contract with DCYF. Families are referred by their social worker. - Triple Point: Local program for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex) youth, 12 to 18 years old. Provides a safe place where youth can make positive connections, learn about community resources, receive the support they need, receive counseling, as well as participate in regular meetings with other LGBTQ+ youth and group leaders. School Success - Readiness to Learn: works with children so they can be successful in school and in the community. Serves students in the Entiat, Eastmont and Wenatchee school districts. - Truancy Invention Program: gives students a boost to help improve attendance. Serves students in the Wenatchee School District in partnership with Chelan County Juvenile Center.

HFCC victim services include DV support group, domestic violence and sexual assault support and crisis intervention, advocacy, legal advocacy, emergency and transitional housing. HFCC also provides support, advocacy, intervention and legal advocacy to victims of general crime.

Life Skills education programs teach concepts and principles relevant to a healthy lifestyle. Provides two types of courses for parents. Includes instruction in child development, family communication and discipline, and providing a quality learning environment for children. Parent-Child Series: Parents and children (birth to 4 years old) come to class together once a week for parent education discussion, child-study and developmentally appropriate children's activities. Provides an array of topics for parents to learn from. Co-op Preschool Parenting Education: For families who have joined one of the three affiliated neighborhood preschools. College instructor assists parents who run the preschool, attends monthly educational seminars and work in the preschool classroom on a rotating basis. This program is organized through the preschools.

Offers children and family counseling, treatment for child victims of sexual abuse, as well as coordination of family support services, including parent education, parenting classes, and family advocate services to promote the self-sufficiency and well-being of families.

Offers resources for parents of children with disabilities. Includes Father's Network, for fathers of children with disabilities; and SibShops, for siblings of children with disabilities. Provides a series of culturally relevant parent education classes and individual counseling sessions with parents who are experiencing parenting challenges. Classes are available to the general public and focus on child development, stress and anger management, nutrition, health and safety, communication, self-esteem and behavior.

Bi-lingual, bi-cultural staff provide support and information for Spanish speaking families in times of crisis. Offers relationship and parenting skills classes in Spanish.

Programs that link families to community resources and offers parenting classes and workshops, English and Spanish toddler playgroups, bi-annual infant clothing and toy swap.

Offers state certified Domestic Violence Intervention Treatment (DVIT), and Anger management assessments and therapy programs. Offers referrals for advocacy on victim’s issues.

Addresses the needs of children, parents, and families by offering support groups, education, as well as special programs for foster youth and teens. - Parent Support Classes: offering support groups and classes for parents and families to help educate and support as they're raising their children. Includes: 7 to 10-week Parenting Skills Classes for parents/caregivers of children, 0-18 years of age; and 4-hour Co-Parenting Seminars required by the courts to support parents who are going through divorce or separation and have minor children. - Kinship Navigator: provides services to enhance the ability of relatives to provide safe, stable, and a nurturing environment for the children in their care. Services include legal referral regarding custody, financial assistance to reach basic needs, parent education & training, support group, assistance in applying for federal and state subsidies, help with child care, help in navigating through the education system, and information on medical dental, and mental health services. - Foster Teen Programs: assists youth in acquiring the skills they need in order to live and function effectively on their own. These include interpersonal skills, money management, housing, work and vocational skills.

The Early Childhood Services at OlyCAP are focused on addressing the needs of families with children age five and younger.  Preschool, early childhood development, child care and family support services are offered at sites throughout Clallam and Jefferson counties.  Children enrolled receive a developmental screening, an individualized learning plan, at least two meals each day and an active learning experience on days they attend the center.  In addition to children services, each family enrolled receives support in accessing medical and dental care for their child, parenting education, home visits and help with finding needed services or resources in the community. Head Start/Early Head Start Head Start and Early Head Start programs promote school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social and other services to enrolled children and families.  The program strives to engage parents in their children’s leaning and help them in making progress toward their educational, literacy and employment goals.  Additionally, the Early Head Start program promotes healthy prenatal outcomes, promotes healthy family functioning, and strengthens the development of infants and toddlers. Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) The Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program is a whole-child, family-focused pre-school program designed to help low-income and at-risk children and their families succeed in school and life.  Because of the many factors that affect a child’s learning ability and development, ECEAP has four interactive components.  They are: learning in a pre-school setting, health screening and assistance with follow-up medical and dental care, healthy snacks and meals, and family support including help accessing resources and social service. This 12-week parenting program is based on the curriculum, Moral Reconation Therapy and is designed to address past parenting behaviors, present family interactions and assists parents in planning for a healthy family future. This behavioral-based approach to parenting encourages parents to recognize the value of taking responsibility for the choices they make and for the actions that they take. Organization is a contracted provider with DSHS Children’s Services. Course meets court/CPS requirements.
