Graduate students in the UW clinical psychology doctoral training program working under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals provide psychotherapy and other psychological services to UW students and residents of the Seattle metropolitan area. Graduate student therapists work with children, teens and adults who are experiencing psychological distress. Clients must be a good match for a therapist-in-training. Prospective clients in acute crisis, those who require hospitalization or intensive medical intervention will typically be referred out or to specialized services within the Clinic (e.g., the Marsha M.
