Services vary by location but may include use of the phone, use of the fax, access to applications for subsidized apartments, assistance applying for government programs such as TANF and EBT, and use of the computer work stations. Clients are not able to use the resource center as a mailing address. Some financial assistance is available dependent upon funding and eligibility requirements.

Provides a wide range of services for youth 12-24 years of age. Services focus on housing support, mental health, education, parent support, healthcare, criminal/legal support, and advocacy services. - Advocates can help access services based on unique situation & need, such as transportation, phone cards, obtaining a State ID, food banks, DSHS benefit applications, and job search. - Housing support may include housing search, referral to a shelter, temporary housing, or rapid/immediate housing, depending on the client's circumstances. - Refers to Okanogan Behavioral Healthcare or online counseling for mental health support. - Connects clients to criminal/legal support and services, such as defense attorneys, Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, or Northwest Justice Project. - Parenting support includes baby items, free books, referrals to child services, and more. - Bilingual tutoring is available on site.

Assists domestic violence and sexual assault victims and victims of crimes with a wide range of services to help them overcome their current situation. All services are provided without regard to race, sex, color, national origin, gender identity and orientation, creed, age, marital status, mental or physical disability, or any other basis prohibited by law.The services are the following: -  Assistance with protective orders-  A 24-hour crisis line -  Information and referral -  Support groups for women and youth -  Emergency services -  Court support -  Temporary shelter for physically and/or emotionally abused victims and their children-  Help with crime victims compensation -  Legal advocacy, including assistance in obtaining protection orders, divorce or custody -  Assistance with other social service organizations, law enforcement officers, and the court system -  Education about domestic violence dynamics

The New Parent Support Team (NPST) is a voluntary program for expectant/new Navy parents.  Home visitation is the core service, with a focus on the health needs of infants and toddlers, prenatal and postnatal care, parent education, family/social support, and resources within the community.  Services focus on supporting the parent as well as parent-child interaction and child development.

Provides a confidential 24-hour crisis hotline for victims of sexual assault and crimes. Victim Advocates are available 24 hours a day to provide support, information, and referrals. Serves those who have been harmed as a result of crimes such as assault, robbery, child abuse, identity theft, arson, kidnapping, hate crimes, and human trafficking. Provides advocacy, individual counseling, support through the legal and criminal justice systems, information about abuse and assault, and referrals to other helpful programs. The Kittitas location also offers shelter and other services for victims of domestic violence.

Provides support, information, and resources to individuals and families in order to keep children safe from sexual abuse. Offers a confidential helpline and online information and resources on subjects such as safe touching and relationships with adults, how to recognize child sex abuse, where to get help if an individual feels that they may sexually abuse a child, and information about healing and recovery from sexual abuse.

Helps Spanish-speakers find needed social, health, or human resources in their community. Also provides individual advocacy and assists filling out documents.

Parent to Parent Outreach: (1) Offering parents peer/mentoring support and information to parents who are dealing with a loved one who has a disability by matching a trained helping parent with someone in a similar situation. (2) Support for families including monthly support groups. (3) Offer networking opportunities, educational workshops, and social events throughout the year.

Offers a confidential space to talk about pregnancy, parenting, abortion, and adoption. Peer Counselors offer judgment-free support at any point before, during, and after pregnancy, regardless of which options the caller is considering.

The mission of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services of Whatcom County is to support individuals affected by domestic violence and sexual assault and to lead the community towards ending these abuses of power. Staff and volunteers assist clients by providing support, helping to identify options and providing information about local resources.

Pregnancy supplies include pre-natal vitamins, morning sickness kits, pregnancy pillows, maternity clothing, and pregnancy and parenting books. Staff are available to meet with clients to answer pregnancy and parenting questions or provide referrals to other programs.

Telephone and in-office assistance with information and referral for services in the Stanwood and Camano Island area.  

Provides information, training, consultation, and program development on the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Approach for individuals, families, and community partners (including educators, mental health clinicians, social services, and justice treatment providers) who live or work with individuals with brain-based differences like FASD, ADHD, dementia, autism, etc. The FASCETS Neurobehavioral Approach links brain with behaviors, leading to supports that make a difference for all people with brain-based differences. Services are provided in-person and online.
