Operates several advice clinics at a variety of locations and times (including evenings), makes referrals to volunteer attorneys and provides public information for low-income clients. Attorneys on staff can provide limited emergency services depending on the client's legal issue. Areas of assistance can include: - Family Law & Domestic Violence - Landlord/Tenant - Foreclosure - Consumer and Business - Bankruptcy - Vacation of Criminal Records - Reinstatement of Driver License - Veteran Assistance - Wills, Probate, Guardianship, and Power of Attorney. Also serves as a referral partner with the Federal Civil Rights Clinic. Will direct clients to the clinic for intake, appointments, and follow up.

Assists domestic violence and sexual assault victims and victims of crimes with a wide range of services to help them overcome their current situation. All services are provided without regard to race, sex, color, national origin, gender identity and orientation, creed, age, marital status, mental or physical disability, or any other basis prohibited by law.The services are the following: -  Assistance with protective orders-  A 24-hour crisis line -  Information and referral -  Support groups for women and youth -  Emergency services -  Court support -  Temporary shelter for physically and/or emotionally abused victims and their children-  Help with crime victims compensation -  Legal advocacy, including assistance in obtaining protection orders, divorce or custody -  Assistance with other social service organizations, law enforcement officers, and the court system -  Education about domestic violence dynamics

Pregnancy supplies include pre-natal vitamins, morning sickness kits, pregnancy pillows, maternity clothing, and pregnancy and parenting books. Staff are available to meet with clients to answer pregnancy and parenting questions or provide referrals to other programs.

Services include: fax, copies, printing, free Wifi, public computer access, tele-health kiosk, vaccines, senior services, Head Start, community meals, DSHS and other application support, a health fair on the 3rd Saturday in May 10am-2pm, Trick Or Treat Resource Fair 5-7pm Oct 31st, notary public and more.

Provides advocacy, individual counseling, support through the legal and criminal justice systems, information about abuse and assault, and referrals to other helpful programs. The Kittitas location also offers shelter and other services for victims of domestic violence.

Provides information, training, consultation, and program development on the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Approach for individuals, families, and community partners (including educators, mental health clinicians, social services, and justice treatment providers) who live or work with individuals with brain-based differences like FASD, ADHD, dementia, autism, etc. The FASCETS Neurobehavioral Approach links brain with behaviors, leading to supports that make a difference for all people with brain-based differences. Services are provided in-person and online.

Parent to Parent Outreach: (1) Offering parents peer/mentoring support and information to parents who are dealing with a loved one who has a disability by matching a trained helping parent with someone in a similar situation. (2) Support for families including monthly support groups. (3) Offer networking opportunities, educational workshops, and social events throughout the year.

The mission of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services of Whatcom County is to support individuals affected by domestic violence and sexual assault and to lead the community towards ending these abuses of power. Staff and volunteers assist clients by providing support, helping to identify options and providing information about local resources.

The New Parent Support Team (NPST) is a voluntary program for expectant/new Navy parents.  Home visitation is the core service, with a focus on the health needs of infants and toddlers, prenatal and postnatal care, parent education, family/social support, and resources within the community.  Services focus on supporting the parent as well as parent-child interaction and child development.
